Joni Mitchell can tell a story so well. As I was thinking about all the clouds I’ve seen over the past two weeks, her lyrics resonate. From the white and billowy to the thunderous dark and gloomy to the glorious sunsets.
I see clouds from both sides. It is how you feel when you take the time to look up and imagine how this whole world can appear and morph. It’s true what is said about New England, the weather is constantly changing.
My poor beat up camera. I know I should be more respectful and take care to keep it in a case and keep the darn dust from seeping in when I least expect it. That tiny dust particle becomes a spot, in what could have been a perfect picture, but alas, it just is what it is. Hooked to my wrist, hanging in a pocket or inside my purse, my camera is like an extension to my hand.
Check out just what billowy white clouds look like as they float over the lake.
Sometimes they reflect great images taken from the dock.
You just know that the rain is on its way! I swear this was like a scene out of The Wizard of Oz. I thought any moment the wicked witch was going to fly by on her broom!
There are times when it is as if time stands still as the clouds collect on the tree tops.
Without the clouds, we wouldn’t experience the magnificent sunsets. They make it all worthwhile!
It was so spectacular that it made choosing my favorite picture difficult. The result…taken in less than a three minute span of time. How easily I could have missed this, while talking in the Tavern!
As I wrap up another adventure, I think about the Inn Kin, my new Inn Kin members and the “old” ones I got to know better. It takes a dedicated team to make the Inn run smoothly, Larry and Phelps have worked very hard to make this a great destination. It couldn’t happen without Joy in the office, Lucy taking care of all the behind the scenes details, Linda, Andy, the wait staff team, Tom cooking great meals, and Jack the bartender!
Guess it’s time to get back to my regularly scheduled program!
That isn’t what I think it is? Am I getting a do-over??
No, I am a Dufus, this is a gopher, not a ground hog!
There goes that theory!
