At The Car Wash

I enjoy music. Frequently the turntable is spinning tunes in my head.  What just cracks me up is the ability to recall lyrics from songs that are over 50 years old.  I’m not just “stuck in the middle with you” but I think I could just keep telling a story and filling it with more lyrics.

Such is the case as I decided, that not only do I not clean my own house, mow my own lawn, file and polish my own nails, I also don’t wash my own car, and we know about my lack of cooking. I can do those things, well, except mow my lawn, it’s a choice!

So there I was, at the car wash, sitting in my air tight car, knowing I had better take the car out of neutral and drive when the green light says go and all I could do was sing…

Working at the car wash
Working at the car wash, yeah
Come on and sing it with me, car wash
Sing it with the feeling now, car wash yeah

Then it hit me, have camera, will travel…so here you have it, my minute or two of splashing water

I don’t know about you, but this reminds me of hot summer days, eating a frozen icy pop!!

Bring on the suds…

Wondering if my car will actually be clean after all this soapy water?

Here comes the octopus of wavy washing…

Now the final rinse process has begun…

It’s all over in a blink of an eye.  Now, foot on the pedal, out of neutral, drive over to the vacuum and park.  I have my special microfiber towels, and begin the wiping and drying.  Yes, I do that!

But, can someone tell me; how, with the constant drying near each side view mirror, there continues to be a stream of pink water that runs down the door, leaving water marks?  Can’t I just be happy my car is clean for 6 bucks!! Yes I can!!
