I recognize that this is a busy week for all of us as we prepare for holiday parties and family fun time. While this happens every year and we all have our own traditions on what we buy, what we eat, what we drink and who we play with; what also remains consistent are my fine feather friends and their reliance on eating daily!
There have been some challenges for these little buddies of mine. If you follow me on Facebook then you know that beyond this beautiful hawk…you’ll have to ignore the reflection on this one, there are additional challenges.
Add the neighborhood cats; they must have got a memo about the morning feeding routine. Here they are in all their glory!
This is Simba; he belongs to the LMU students that live across the street.
What the heck does he have to complain about?! Or, is he just saying…”Calling all buddies?!”
Fraidy cat, remember him, Simba’s feral buddy, standing at my kitchen door.
Can he be too cute?
And lastly…where did this Fatty cat come from?
Are you starting to get the picture? There is a cat and hawk alert in my Wild Kingdom.
However, even with obstacles in place, these fine feather friends and fuzzy tail squirrels still manage to eat!
Strike a pose!
House Finch
White Crown Sparrow
Sylvia the Squirrel and a mourning dove just figuring it out.
The communal table!
One cannot forget the scurb jay; they started it all!
And last but certainly not least. Without further a do…
At Ease!
