Meet Sheila Ohstrom.

Sheila Ohstrom is an alumni of Alfred University holding a BS in Business. Sheila’s Takeaways.

You will gain a deeper understanding of what dementia care really looks like.  Why do caregivers need both education and respite, including how early support can prevent crisis and burnout? Our conversation highlights the importance of dignity, relationship-based care, and community support. In doing so, it shows families that they are not alone and that the right help can completely change their caregiving journey.

In Closing.

If you know someone who is suffering with dementia, this podcast will give you some suggestions on how to help your loved one and yourself, as well.

Thank you Sheila, for sharing your story with all of us!
