Joining me on my first Born To Talk Radio Show Podcast in 2024 is Devin Moore.

Meet Devin.

At the age of 14, Devin Moore became the Founder and CEO of Race To Speak Up, an anti-bullying organization. Their mission is to educate youth about bullying prevention and empower them to be upstanders. He will be sharing his definition of upstanders.

Devin is also a first-time author of Devin Speaks Up! a children’s anti-bullying book. Devin Speaks Up! is about the importance of being okay with being different and loving who you are. By speaking up to someone you trust about being bullied, kindness matters. And thus encourages kids to be upstanders for each other.

Currently, Devin is a Psychology major and Nonprofit Leadership minor at the University of Maryland.

Working with Humanity Rising, Devin is a member of the Humanity Rising Ambassador Leadership Team. They are a student-led movement to create a more compassionate and better world through service.

He also hosts Humanity Rising’s Behind the Screen. A Harms of Cyberbullying Webinar. They offer open conversations about cyberbullying prevention and discusses ways to implement the Behind The Screen Curriculum into schools.

Devin Speaks Up!

Devin Speaks Up! is a Children’s Anti-Bullying Book about Devin’s bullying experience. Namely, the importance of being okay with being different and loving who you are. This includes speaking up to someone you trust about being bullied. Kindness matters, and thus encourages kids to be upstanders for each other. It’s not okay to be bullied. It’s okay to be a friend. Hence, we need to embrace each others differences in a world that includes all kinds of people from all walks of life. Devin wants a world free from bullying and this is what his book is all about. It’s an important tool to get there.
