Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life

Each week I look for inspiration that will lift me up and tell a story. This is how it started.

I woke to the sound of rain drops, so many rain drops falling from the sky. My first thought was, ah oh, something has gone terribly wrong with my sprinkler system. Then as I listened more closely I realized the unfamiliar sound of rain.

The magic of raindrops.

I was contemplating my bird world and appreciating what I see when I take the time to look up. It was a lucky day to see the Robin’s.  They don’t come by too often.

As I walked outside to grab the Sunday paper, I couldn’t help but notice the abundant blooming of my bougainvillea. I keep asking my gardner to leave it, but it’s getting to the point where it is hitting the top of my head. I think it’s a small price to pay!Speaking of existing, it’s not enough to just wake up and smell the coffee, or in my case my Vanilla Chai, it’s also important to me to be grateful.

Each week I have the opportunity to engage in conversation with the most interesting people on my Born To Talk Radio Show. This week’s show is all about being welcomed to my city of Los Angeles.  If your travels include flying out of or into the Los Angeles International Airport, also known as LAX and LAWA, Los Angeles World Airport, you may encounter a wonderful group of volunteers to make your experience here one you won’t forget.  Heidi Huebner is the Director of volunteers for the VIP and PUP programs. Phil Dedge is a weekly volunteer.

I encourage you to listen and watch on Monday March 7 from 1-2 PT as you learn about these great volunteer organizations. #latalklive http://www.ustream.tv/channel/la-talk-live

If you miss the live show, I’ll be posting the archived link later in the day.

Now can someone explain how this continues to happen?

See you next week…Because it’s important to remember…

Always Look At The Bright Side Of Life!
