It has indeed been a very good year for me. As I look through my picture library I am reminded of my adventures, good fortune, and wonderful friends.

I’m a sports fan! Basketball and Baseball!

I play Mah Jongg weekly with good friends!

There’s the monthly Book Club and Bunko. I won’t mention my record for reading the 12 books this past year, but I do enjoy my friends. As Bunko Babes we gather each month at someone’s home, eat dinner, throw the dice around and donate money to a charity that is meaningful to the host. This year we donated over $1,200.00; altogether well over $6,000.

Now there is the whole travel thing. Who could have been luckier than me? I can’t believe it myself!

Thank you Shelley for allowing me to tag along again!! I’m keeping next year’s adventure a surprise for now…but we are going far far away!!!

Van’s visit from Vietnam was a true highlight!

Then longtime girlfriends vacationed together in Las Vegas, Palm Desert and then the crowning jewel, New England!

Throw in a Medicare Class reunion that included my best friend and twin sister since the 5th grade, from another mother!

As you can see, it was a full year. I’m so grateful for all the experiences. My blog is growing, I’ve become a twitter nut case and tonight I will play dominos with my good friends.

Life is a journey. Thank you, everyone, near and far, old friends and new friends for your support!
