He serves as a speaker, panelist, and guest lecturer in settings focused on arts education. Mark also consults with organizations seeking to expand or deepen their own work in arts learning. Mark’s community involvement runs deep. We will be focusing on his current volunteer board positions with two non-profits.

Communities in Schools-Los Angeles is one of more than 150 programs across the country that is changing kids’ lives. They are the nation’s largest and most effective dropout prevention organization that has proven to both decrease dropout rates and increase graduation rates.
As an independent affiliate of Communities in Schools (CIS) their Integrated Student Supports Progam, is a nationally proven model that is comprised of 6 steps. As you can see in this photo, they integrate all the steps for success.
