Joining me on my Born To Talk Radio Show Podcast is Michael D’Angelo. Michael is the founder of the non-profit Rapid Fire Comedy Tour.
Meet Michael D’Angelo.
Michael D’Angelo is from Las Vegas. Besides being the founder of his non-profit, Michael is also a stand-up comedian, writer, and Marine Corps Veteran. His comedy is shaped by real life, hard lessons, and an obsession with telling the truth onstage. Raised in a city built on spectacle, Michael developed a voice that speaks just as loudly to the losing gambler in the back of the room as it does to the die-hard fan in the front row.

The Mission of the Rapid Fire Comedy Tour.
“Over the years, our mission expanded to include the first responder community, where many military members find their next calling. We aim to boost morale, build camaraderie and promote troop welfare. Whether it’s a company event or the end of an exercise, we’re ready to close it out with a live stand up comedy show.”
Michael’s nonprofit brings professional stand-up comedy directly to military units, first responders, and veteran communities nationwide. He has performed across the country in clubs and theaters. Michael also has unconventional settings. They range from shipping containers to behind the barracks, anywhere he gets the call.
Michael’s Takeways.
“Why do I do what I do? Because I am surviving. I joined the Marines to survive. I got into stand up comedy to survive my injury. Then I moved to LA to live in my car so that I could get better at stand up comedy in order to make a career out of it. If you want to chase your dreams, remember that it’s lonely. It never gets easier, you only get better and you have to do it all yourself.”
In Closing.
Michael is deeply obsessed with the process of stand-up comedy. This includes writing new material on the page and workshopping it in front of his peers. Ultimately he bears it all before a room full of strangers. His goal for 2026 is to continue growing the Rapid Fire Comedy Tour: producing more shows, building more partnerships, and using comedy to boost morale, build camaraderie, and promote troop welfare.
