Joining me on my Born To Talk Radio Show Podcast is Diana Roday Hosford. She is the Senior Vice President, Global Sports & Entertainment for TAPS, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors.
Meet Diana
Diana Roday Hosford is a veteran in the nonprofit world, with more than 20 years of marketing, communications, and partnership development in the sector, including roles at Special Olympics. Prior to transitioning to the nonprofit sector, Diana worked in television news. She attended American University and currently resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband and daughter.
Diana joined TAPS in 2013. After a trip to Kabul, Afghanistan, she had the vision to create a program that would allow TAPS to create meaningful opportunities for the families of the fallen, through sports. Her concept has become the teams4taps program. This has grown to include more than 200 sports teams across the country and several international organizations. Diana continues to build international strategic partnerships. In her current role, she also oversees stars4taps, the TAPS entertainment program.

Caring for the families of America’s Fallen Heroes since 1994
TAPS is a national nonprofit organization providing compassionate care and comprehensive resources to all those grieving a death in the military or veteran community.
Since 1994, TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24/7 through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources. All at no cost to surviving families and loved ones. TAPS provides a variety of programs to survivors nationally and worldwide. Their National Military Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp has been held annually in Washington, D.C., over Memorial Day weekend since 1994.
Diana’s Takeaways.
“I’m excited to share how I have created a way to give back, via a dream job, while making a difference. I get to work with the best sports clubs and franchises in the world and amazing and creative people in the entertainment industry while creating beautiful moments for the families of military fallen to honor their loved ones. We will certainly laugh, and I will likely cry, and we’ll have some fun!”
