Let’s Meet Joel.
Joel graduated from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, where he obtained a BA in English. He also completed his M.A. in Liberal Studies at UNC-Charlotte along with a Certification in Professional and Applied Ethics. Adding to his education is a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from UNC-Charlotte.
To being with, Joel has written 55 books and published 35, including his latest book The New Being. Preparing for the Emergence of a new Humanity.
Part self-help book and part social critique, The New Being offers an opulent vision of a new humanity. It confirms what we sense instinctively about our ability to change ourselves and our society. In fact, its claim is simple: “Each of us has the capacity for immensity, expansion, and transformation. It unfolds this idea dynamically, revealing en route how our narratives of human nature impede our change and discourage our progress.” More importantly, it offers alternatives to these narratives, including ways to change them also along with ourselves.
We will be talking about the challenges Joel has faced and what influenced him to write his latest book.
I like his following quote: “Trust is the base of optimism.”
I trust we will have a wonderful podcast as he shares his personal story.
What’s Your Story? I want to tell it.
