What exactly is Dragon Boat racing? I’m curious too.  This sport dates back to Southern China over 2,000 years ago.

You may be surprised to know that teams of men, women and youth compete in Dragon Boat Racing Festivals. The LA Harbor club has 100 members and growing strong.

Not only is this a great form of exercise, it’s a social activity as well. Picture a drummer facing the crew of 18 paddlers with the rhythmic sound and synchronized motion, moving across the water. Smell the salty air and hear the seagulls begging for food. What could be more fun?
