Scott Yonkouski… 3 Time Brain Tumor Survivor

Yes, this is a provocative title, because how many people do you know that can talk about what it means to be diagnosed with a brain tumor, not once, not twice but three different times?

Say hello to Scott!  He will be my guest on Monday, March 27, 2017 on the Born To Talk radio show heard and seen on www.latalklive.com and  www.ustream.tv/channel/la-talk-live starting at 1:00 PT.

Fortunately for Scott, his tumors were all benign, but brain surgery is still brain surgery. Scott had a very full and active life as an actor and personal fitness instructor, when it became clear, something was wrong.

You’ve heard the slogan turning lemons into lemonade, that’s where Scott’s story becomes even more enriching. We will be talking about how he has become an advocate at the UCLA Medical Center for patients undergoing surgery and their families. He knows firsthand what it’s like to be in that bed facing the fears and concerns.

His story is inspiring. Scott is still a fitness trainer, but he’s also writing a book about his experiences, soon to be published.  I bet it will be a real hands on guide as well as a beacon of hope for those that can benefit from his experiences.

I’ve enjoyed getting to know Scott and you will too. Tell your friends to join us for this informative and encouraging show about his life.
